The Truth

The Truth

So the Superbowl was fairly recent. I have no major comments on the game. Probably shouldn’t either because I’m not that big of a football fan, and I’m also not a fan of either of the teams.

Anyways, another big part of the Superbowl are the commercials. Even if you don’t like football, you can still watch it for some amazing commercials.

The one before was definitely up there for me. I haven’t watched all of them yet but I just wanted to share this one for now.

Kia K900 2014 Super Bowl Commercial - Morpheus The Truth-2

Why? I felt that just as Morpheus presented the driver with two options, the option to go back to the car and life he always knew and was comfortable with, or to take a leap of faith, and join him on a journey into the unknown. Even when Morpheus offers them the option of “never looking at luxury the same again” he does not show them pictures, a teaser video, brochures, nothing. The driver is making the decision based upon faith that this intense looking dude with a gap in his two front teeth might know and have experienced something he hasn’t.

As believers, we too are presented with two choices by Jesus. We can choose to continue to be blinded to the truth. We can live in our day to day comfortable car, or we can experience the truth, we can experience life the way it was meant to be experienced. Jesus could blow your mind and take your life in a direction you never thought possible.

Do not work for the food that perishes, but for the food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give to you. For on him God the Father has set his seal.” (John 6:27, ESV)

Do you want to keep working for the bread that perishes or do you want the bread that endures to eternal life?

There are no pictures, no brochures, no teaser, just an offer. Which will you take? I guarantee you it’s more epic than having Morpheus sitting in your car.

Boom boom. Hope you got a good laugh and thought out of this.
