Day of Excitement

Day of Excitement

I had a pretty good day doing lots of things and going to lots of places.

First I woke up and had dim sum in Flushing with my cousins Alan and Emily and my grandparents. We had a great time and ate lots of food. I think I have definitely gained some weight since I got back home. I’m over 150 now! Woo Hoo!

After dim sum, we walked my cousins to the subway and they went on their way home to NJ and I took my grandparents to Chinatown to see a Chinese Accupressure Doctor because they were having some pain and stuff. Apparently the doctor was really good because they were talking about it all the way home.

Then after I dropped them home, I headed back out to Manhattan to hang out with Margo and Jun! We had a lot of fun taking the trains and going to Union Square and walking around. We ate dinner at Goodburger because the line for Max Brenners was soo long. Lol, both me and Margo ordered the Portobello Mushroom burger and when we got it we found out that it did not come with meat! Oh my gosh we felt so shafted. The burger was decent but I still wish it had some meat haha.

We then went to Max Brenners and we were still on the waiting list, man that place gets packed. People probably do both dinner and deserts, which was the same for us. But by the time we got back, we were just interested in deserts. It was my first time there and we ordered some awesome deserts. Chocolate fondue and some chocolate cake. It was delicious. The place was beautifully decorated, the lighting was “warming,” the little candles that came with the fondues were definitely fun and added to the warm environment. The chocolate was delicious and mouth watering. The place was a tad bit expensive, but I think it really has to do a lot more with the experience than the chocolate itself. Would I recommend it, sure, for the experience, for the deserts, probably not, you can probably get something similar somewhere else.

Hope to be blogging a bit more with my free time
